Photography. Expert Photoshop training. Hiking. Trout fishing. Combine these elements for an experience you'll never forget!
Whether
you are a serious hobbyist or graphic arts professional, the knowledge of digital photography and Photoshop photo editing
you gain in this intensive 5-day experience will send you back to
civilization with real-world skills in digital photography and photo
editing.
Now it's possible to combine
digital photography, photo editing technology and the great outdoors for a truly creative
experience! Advances in mobile computing and digital cameras have given
us the opportunity to "close the loop" on shooting, editing and
learning -- all in a remote wilderness setting.
Our "outdoor classroom" for digital photography and photo editing is a million acres of National forest set
aside for exactly what we're doing--observing and appreciating
nature's grandeur and beauty. Getting to camp requires some stamina, mostly
on the part of
the horses and mules, but humans need to be in good shape as
well. And the extra effort is worth it. This is high altitude back-country
that few people
have ever seen.
As you'd expect in such an unspoiled landscape, wildlife abounds. It's
not unusual to see bald eagles, quail, deer, bighorn sheep, mountain
goat, elk, moose, and yes, the occasional black bear.
Your instructor Ansen Seale is an artist and professional photographer based in San Antonio, Texas. His artwork
has been exhibited in galleries and museums in Los Angeles, Chicago,
Dallas, Houston, Copenhagen, Buenos Aires, and the Canary Islands.
Seale's experience as a university photography instructor, lecturer and
workshop clinician gives him the skills to guide you in exploring and
creating your own personal vision. His 18 years of Photoshop experience
and his real-world knowledge of digital image making will give you
valuable, up-to-date skills. And his energetic, yet easy-going teaching
style will make your learning experience enjoyable and memorable.
